ISO Markets and Settlements Training Workshop
Course Registration
The ISO Markets and Settlements Training Workshop takes the learner through scenarios that explore the ISO day-ahead and real-time market processes, timelines, and market results. Prior to attending the classroom sessions, learners are required to view the following introductory CBTs which will provide a foundation for the classroom discussions:
After reviewing the introductory CBTs, learners will have a good understanding of how the ISO market operates, be ready to participate in classroom activities, and begin to understand how their daily activities may relate.
Learners have the option to enroll in one or more day(s) that interest them. There is a 20% discount for those individuals who enroll in all three days of the same workshop. Registration for the workshop closes one week in advance, or when the event has reached full capacity.

Day 1 – Introduction to ISO Markets
Lecture and tabletop exercises that explore the day-ahead and real-time market processes from the perspective of the market operator.
Objectives:
Day 2 – Market Transactions
Lecture and tabletop exercises that follow the path from bid-to-results from the perspective of the scheduling coordinator.
Day 3 – ISO Settlements
Lecture and tabletop exercises that review market settlements from the perspective of the scheduling coordinator.
About Course Registration
Class size is limited. Once a class is filled, it will be closed and a waiting list will be created for those participants who sign up for the class. The participants on the waiting list will be informed of class availability as space becomes available.
Government Agencies - Training courses are offered at half price for employees of government agencies that do not bid or schedule in our markets (e.g. CPUC, FERC). Government agencies that are certified scheduling coordinators, or contract with certified scheduling coordinators for these purposes are not eligible for this offer.
